Family Photoshoots with Captured by Jackie are intentionally child-led so that we can capture the authentic moments that make your family unique.
As a mother of two boys, I know exactly how it feels when plans with your children don't go quite as you planned. Photography sessions can sometimes feel that way but by allowing everyone to act naturally and interact in their own way, I capture the real moments you share with the ones you love most. The secret smile from behind your back as you tell me something you love about your little one, the quiet moments shared in a language you sometimes feel only you could understand, they're my favourite photos, and hopefully they'll be yours too...

Outdoor/Indoor Family Photoshoots
These are your typical, relaxed photoshoots with your nearest and dearest. Perfect for capturing the chaos of young families or the cosy moments with a new baby, we'll make sure that we get photos that you cannot wait to share with friends and family.
Although most of my clients tend to choose to take a walk somewhere special to them in the Scottish Borders, I am also happy to come to you at home to capture quiet moments in your own space.
Prices start from £85 (secured with a £30 deductible deposit)
Couples' Photoshoots
Whether you're celebrating an engagement or just looking to have some relaxed couples portraits that can be hung in your home, my Couples' Photoshoots are a fantastic option for anyone who would like to avoid staged poses and lots of direction. We'll take a walk, you can have a chat and I'll capture some special memories for you.

Relaxed School Photoshoots
It can be difficult for some little ones (including my own!) to feel relaxed enough to "sit and smile" for a stranger with just a few minutes available to them. My Relaxed School Photoshoots aim to give children time to warm up and get comfortable with the camera before we capture the genuine smiles that you know and love, to mark another year of their growth and learning.
